The Tucson area is deep in his roots, going back to the 1950's when his father was transferred here as part of the team to launch the Hughes Aircraft (now Raytheon) plant near Tucson airport.
More recently, he practiced 15 years of technology sales (enterprise software) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Awards included Sales Director of the Year, President's Award, and Sales Leader of the Year etc. Business travel has taken him to England, Australia, Argentina, and South Africa.
Scott is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he competed four years on the crew (rowing) team.
He is proud to be part of Long Realty, having chosen it for its high professional standards, its ranking as the #1 real estate company in southern Arizona, and its 80+ year history in Tucson.
In addition to Realtor designation, Scott is also an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, and completed Karrass Negotiation training. He actively supports the Long Cares Foundation.
Scott has been married 21 years to Karen Sanson and they have three teenagers, with the oldest entering University of Arizona Tucson as a freshman in fall 2009.
