Thank you for viewing this profile!
Scott Sanson offers you the experience of having represented discerning clients in over $28 million in residential real estate transactions since 2004.
The Tucson area is deep in his roots, going back to the 1950's when his father was transferred here as part of the team to launch the Hughes Aircraft Company (now Raytheon) plant near Tucson airport.
More recently, he practiced 15 years of technology sales (enterprise software) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Awards included Sales Director of the Year, President's Award, and Sales Leader of the Year etc. Business travel has taken him across the US, as well as England, Australia, Argentina, and South Africa.
Scott is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he competed four years on the Crew (rowing) team. His favorite book is The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown. In 2015 he had the honor of escorting Mr. Brown to his overflowing speaking events at the Tucson Festival of Books, the 4th largest annual book festival in the US.
He is proud to be part of Long Realty, having chosen it for its high professional standards, its ranking as the #1 real estate company in southern Arizona, and its 90 year history in Tucson.
In addition to Realtor designation, Scott is also an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, and completed Karrass Negotiation training. He actively supports the Long Cares Foundation.
Besides working with home buyers and sellers in the greater Tucson area, he also actively refers clients and friends to Realtors across the country. A highlight in 2015 was a referral that resulted in the sale of a beautiful lakefront property at Lake Tahoe, California. This set the record for the highest value referral for Long Realty in many years.
Scott has been married 28 years to Karen Sanson. They have three children, the youngest, Mary, at University of Arizona Tucson (UA), and Rose and Leland, UA Eller School business graduates, with respective careers at Tesla Motors and Vanguard.
